INTRO
The Garden State Cat Club Competition is hosted on CFA’s Virtual Cat Competition (VCC) platform. You will need to register for an account on the platform before entering a show, but doing this is easy, free, and only needs to be done once. After registering, you can enter any other show hosted on the platform without having to re-enter your contact information.
HOW TO ENTER THE GARDEN STATE CAT CLUB VCC
Below is a step-by-step guide for new exhibitors entering a Virtual Cat Competition (VCC) event for the first time.
Enter the URL https://vcc.cfa.org/ in your browser on your computer, tablet or mobile device. Scroll down or click the tab where it says “Current CFA Virtual Cat Competitions” and click on the show you want to enter.

If this is your first time you will need to REGISTER to use the VCC platform before adding entries. If you have already REGISTERED, LOGIN to view or begin adding your entries. In the top menu, hit REGISTER. Fill in the form with the following information:
Once you have completed the form, confirm you are NOT a Robot and then select the black REGISTER Button.

Note: Since some events are offering prizes, it is important that you enter your complete mailing address so that the event committee can get those to you. |

Enter your username (your email address) and the password from your registration and select the black LOGIN button to login to the platform. Note: You can edit your profile and update your picture or any details or logout located at the TOP right on the page.

COMPETITION ENTRY FORM FAQ
The cost is for entries is $10 each, If you enter 3, you will get your 4th entry FREE! Note: Every VCC sets its own fees and requirements so they will differ from one event to the next. Refer to the VCC home page, Facebook Announcements or flyers (if available) for more details.
You might be using photos taken on different dates. Try to use photos all from the same general time frame. The age that you enter should be the cat’s age in the photo as best as you can approximate. Some classes are age dependent, so you should use photos for that class only if they were taken when the cat was the age required by the class. For example, if the competition is for cats over 7 years old, you should only use a photo of the cat taken when the cat is over 7 years old.
The main options are PayPal and Credit Card, though some clubs and competitions include other types of options for payment including check or Venmo. The types of payments they accept are at the club’s discretion.
If you are using PayPal as your form of payment, please note that you will NOT be automatically be taken to the PayPal site after entering. You will need to either use a link or send your payments to the address provided in the instructions.
Your cat’s photos will not display in the Gallery until the entry clerk verifies receipt of payment. So please send your PayPal payment as soon as possible after entering.
If you selected PayPal, your photos won’t be eligible for judging until the entry clerk verifies receipt of payment. So please pay with PayPal as soon as possible, sending your payment to the address shown on the entry form. You can expedite the process by emailing the entry clerk a copy of your PayPal receipt.
